1Who we are

This website (“the Site”) and the digital product Held in the Quiet (“the Book”) are published under the name Held in the Quiet (“we”, “us”, “our”). By purchasing or using the Book you agree to these Terms.

2What you are buying

The Book is a single, downloadable digital devotional (PDF), 88 pages, 6×9. Purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to read the Book in your browser and to save and print the PDF for your own household use. You may not resell, redistribute, republish, or share the file.

3Pricing & payment

• The price is $37, charged once. There is no subscription and no recurring billing.
• Payment is processed securely by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• Prices are in U.S. dollars. Sales tax is added at checkout only where it applies, and is calculated automatically by Stripe.

4Delivery

Access is delivered by email — a message titled “Your book is ready — Held in the Quiet” is sent to the address you provide at checkout, normally within a few minutes of payment, with a private library link where you can read the Book in your browser or save the PDF. If you do not receive it, check your spam folder and then reply to it once it arrives, or see Section 5.

5Refund policy

All sales are final. Delivery is electronic and immediate: the entire Book is made available to you the moment payment clears, nothing can be returned, and nothing can be un-read. We therefore do not offer refunds, exchanges, or credits for a change of mind, for purchasing by mistake, for purchasing the same book twice by choice, or because the Book was not what you imagined it would be.

By completing your purchase you acknowledge that you are buying a digital product delivered instantly, that you receive it in full at that moment, and that no refund will be issued except in the narrow circumstances set out below.

We do refund, within seven (7) days of purchase, in these circumstances only:

• you paid and the Book never reached you, and we are unable to deliver it to you by any means;
• the file you received is corrupted, incomplete, or will not open, and we cannot supply a working copy;
• a single purchase was charged more than once, in which case we refund the duplicate charge or charges.

In each of those cases, reply to your delivery email first. Almost every report of a missing book is a delivery problem we can fix in minutes by sending a fresh library link, and a working book is a better outcome for you than a refund.

Delivery is to the address you give us. We are not responsible for a delivery that fails because the email address entered at checkout was mistyped, because your provider filed our message in a spam or promotions folder, because a mailbox was full, or because a filter at your end rejected it. Tell us and we will resend; we will not treat any of those as a failure to deliver.

Chargebacks and disputes. Because the Book is delivered in full and immediately, raising a chargeback or payment dispute rather than contacting us first is a breach of these Terms. We keep a record of every purchase and every delivery, including your acceptance of these Terms at checkout, and we will contest disputes with that documentation. Access to your library may be paused while a dispute is open. If you have a problem, reply to your delivery email — we would far rather fix it than argue about it.

Nothing here removes rights you hold under the consumer law of your own country. Where local law grants you a right we cannot exclude, that law applies regardless of what is written here. See our full refund information for the same policy presented on its own page.

6General devotional material — disclaimer

The Book is general devotional material. It is not a private prophecy and not a substitute for professional medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or pastoral care. Scripture quotations are from the public-domain King James Version (KJV); all reflections, prayers, practices, and journal prompts are original writing. If you are carrying something dangerous, urgent, or too heavy to manage alone, reach out to a qualified professional or a trustworthy person in your community.

7Intellectual property

All text, reflections, prayers, journal prompts, the cover art, and the name “Held in the Quiet” are our property and are protected by copyright and trademark law. The quoted King James Version scripture text itself is in the public domain. Unauthorized copying or redistribution of the Book is prohibited.

8Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Book is limited to the amount you paid for it. The Book is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

9Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page with its “last updated” date.
